Customization
Q: Can I create my own verse?
A: Yes. Simply click the "Custom Verse" tab on the card detail page in Step 2 and enter your created verse. Please note that your order may take an additional 1-3 business days to process.
Q: Can I have a logo printed on the inside of my card?
A: Yes. Select the 1 or 2 color logo option at the end of Step 2 on the Create Your Custom Card Project page. There is an additional fee of $60 for a one color logo and $120 for a two color logo. Timeframes are based on your electronic files being received by us in usable format. If files sent to us do not meet our standards, additional time will be required to obtain a useable file from you. Processing time begins when your files are approved by our artwork department.
Q: What file format must my logo be in?
A: Please see our logo standards.
Q: Can you print signatures inside my card?
A: Yes. It's a simple process that we will explain to you upon calling or emailing us. Printing signatures on your cards require that you select the 1 color logo option during checkout.
Q: Are the standard verse options the same for all of your cards?
A: No. They vary depending on the theme and orientation of the card.
Q: Will my cards be printed exactly as shown in the online previews of the website?
A: No. The previews are only rough approximations which show the font styles of the verse and name / closing. To see the exact layout and sizing of fonts, please select the Typeset Proof option in Step 4 on the Create Your Custom Card Project page. See the Proof tab in our FAQ’s for more information.
Q: Can I change the font of one of your standard verses?
A: No. However, you may create a custom verse with your font choice using the exact text of the standard verse. This, in effect, will change the font of a standard verse. It will also allow you to have the font in your closing / name match your verse.
Q: Can I use the same font for my closing / name as the one used for my standard verse?
A: There are occasionally fonts for the closing / name that match the verse font. Please view the font options to compare, but keep in mind that there is typically no direct match. Most customers prefer to not match the verse and the closing. One option, however, is to create a custom verse with the font of your choice and use the same font for the name / closing.
Q: How can I skip a line in either my custom verse or closing / name?
A: You may either just leave the line blank or enter the words [BLANK LINE]. However, the permissions you specify in Step 4 may override your choice if you allow us to combine or split lines of entered text. Please note that the final layouts are not shown in the previews on the website and are adjusted by our typesetters to be visually appropriate based upon our typesetting standards.
Q: Can I use special PMS colors other than your standard color options?
A: Yes, however, there is a $60 charge for each color which would be charged separately. Please indicate your PMS color numbers in Step 4 on the Create Your Custom Card Project page. Orders including PMS colors typically require up to an additional five business days to process.
